Abstract:
Digital health technologies are increasingly integrated into the management of heart failure, enabling continuous patient monitoring, early detection of clinical deterioration, and improved care delivery. Remote monitoring systems, including wearable devices, implantable sensors, and telemedicine platforms, provide real-time physiological data that support proactive clinical decision-making.
This narrative review examines the current applications of digital health in heart failure, focusing on remote monitoring strategies, clinical outcomes, and practical implementation. Evidence suggests that remote monitoring may reduce hospitalizations, improve symptom control, and enhance patient engagement.
Despite promising results, challenges remain regarding patient selection, data interpretation, and integration into clinical workflows.
Digital health represents a key component of future heart failure management, shifting care from reactive to proactive models.
