risk predictionAbstract:Artificial intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming cardiovascular medicine, moving from experimental models to real-world clinical applications. AI-based tools are increasingly used in imaging, electrocardiography, risk prediction, and clinical decision support. This narrative review examines the current applications of AI in cardiology, focusing on clinically implemented technologies rather than theoretical models. Special attention is given to echocardiography, electrocardiogram interpretation, prediction of cardiovascular risk, and integration into clinical workflows. AI has demonstrated high diagnostic accuracy, improved efficiency, and potential for early disease detection. However, challenges remain regarding validation, interpretability, and integration into routine clinical practice. AI is expected to become an essential component of modern cardiology, supporting clinicians rather than replacing them.
